Sorry for my English but it is to hard for me to post it in French.
I'm addicted to the 205 GTi since the late 80's and I think the 205 GTi is the drive of my life.
In my early driving years starting in '88, I always drove my mothers Peugeot 205 and she owned two of them (1.1 Accent / 1.4 GT) for around 10 years in total.
After that period I bought my first own car and it was a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi Griffe.
I drove my 205 Griffe for almost 6 years and I really loved it but the car was not reliable enough for daily traffic to my job.
So I bought a new reliable Peugeot 107 (free of road tax in Holland) and after 3 years I also bought a 205 GTi as a hobby car.
The 205 GTi is fitted with a 1.9 16V engine (Mi16 - D6C - XU9J4) with 160bhp and I still own that car (since 2010).
One year later I bought another 205 GTi, it is fitted with a 2.0 16V engine (S16 - RFY - XU10J4) with 155bhp and I also still own that car.
Last june I sold my Peugeot 107 after 7 years and I bought a new 208 GTi 1.6 THP 200 which will be delivered in week 45.
I'm a member of the Dutch Peugeot GTi Club and the 205 GTi Club since 2001.
Driving tours and rally's with my 205's GTi is what I realy love to do in the weekends.
